One of My favorite lamb recipe is shepherds pie. If you make it with beef, it is called cottage pie, not shepherds pie. I was fortunate enough to find a Leg of lamb for less than half price. With these uncertain economic times looming before us it behoves me to can up some shepherds pie to have ready to add mashed potatoes on top of and put in the oven. I will photograph the steps of this project.Into the oven it goes at 1 oclock.
